Tom is a sports writer based on Massachusetts’ South Shore. He covers pro, college and high school sports. He has experience covering just about every sport (and is more than happy to do so), but baseball, football and hockey top his area of expertise.
He has covered pro baseball since 2014 and pro hockey since the 2015-2016 season.
In all, Tom has contributed to over 100 publications throughout the country and internationally (list available upon request). Notable bylines to his credit include: The Boston Globe, Newsday, USA Today, LifeZette, Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Detroit Free Press, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Austin American-Statesman, ESPN Boston, Huffington Post and Boston Baseball Magazine, among many others.
Tom also has radio and broadcasting experience. He broadcasted a handful of Brockton Rox (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) games for Spark Radio and co-hosted 95.9 WATD’s The Sports Exchange during high school football season in 2016.
In high school, Tom long snapped for a State Championship winning Marshfield High School team. Receiving mild interest to play at the next level, he instead opted for Emerson College in Boston, a school without a football program.
